K4Security and ProKnoWara Sign Strategic MoU to Support EU ESPR & Digital Product Passport (DPP) Compliance in Bangladesh

K4Security has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ProKnoWara Consulting Firm to jointly develop practical and scalable solutions supporting compliance with the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and the Digital Product Passport (DPP).

Through this collaboration, the two organizations have agreed to establish a structured implementation framework to promote and expand DPP systems across Bangladesh’s textile manufacturing sector—one of the world’s most important global textile production hubs. The MoU underscores the growing urgency for textile manufacturers in Bangladesh to move beyond regulatory awareness and into concrete implementation.

ProKnoWara is a specialized EU DPP consulting and education firm working with more than 500 textile manufacturers across Bangladesh. The firm has proactively analyzed EU DPP regulations and has supported its clients through DPP regulatory interpretation, adoption-need assessments, and readiness evaluations. Based on this experience, ProKnoWara has developed implementation and operational models optimized for real-world textile manufacturing environments.

Under the MoU, the two parties will combine ProKnoWara’s on-site consulting and training expertise with K4Security’s DPP platform and technical capabilities to jointly deliver customized adoption and operational support aligned with each company’s readiness level.

Executive Perspectives

A representative of K4Security’s executive leadership commented:

“The Digital Product Passport is no longer a future concept—it is becoming a concrete market access requirement for global manufacturers. Through this partnership with ProKnoWara, we aim to translate EU ESPR and DPP regulations into deployable, operational systems that textile manufacturers in Bangladesh can realistically adopt and operate. Our goal is to enable compliance not as a burden, but as a foundation for trust, transparency, and long-term competitiveness.”

A senior executive at ProKnoWara Consulting Firm added:

“Many textile manufacturers understand that EU DPP regulations are coming, but they struggle with how to prepare in practice. By combining our field-level consulting and education capabilities with K4Security’s proven DPP technology platform, we can provide our clients with a clear, step-by-step path from readiness assessment to full system operation.”

Implementation Roadmap

As part of the initial rollout, priority companies will be selected from ProKnoWara’s network of 500 textile manufacturers. For these companies, the partners will jointly deliver a phased program including:

·               DPP compliance consulting

·               Training on DPP system adoption

·               DPP system implementation and operational training

K4Security will provide the DPP system itself, support technical architectures aligned with EU ESPR requirements, and deliver hands-on technical support for real-world deployment.

Looking ahead, the two companies plan to accelerate the adoption and expansion of DPP systems across Bangladesh’s textile manufacturing market and progressively support compliance with the expanding scope of EU ESPR regulations in line with local industry demand.

This partnership marks a practical step toward bridging EU sustainability regulations with on-the-ground manufacturing realities—enabling textile manufacturers to move from preparation to execution with confidence.
